Home Modifications

An important component of the Iowa Able lending programs is the ability to get funding specifically for home modifications. Matching funds from the Iowa Finance Authority have made this possible.

“The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) was established in 1975 to undertake programs to assist in the attainment of housing for low- and moderate-income Iowans,” said Mike Tramontina, executive director of IFA. “Assisting people with disabilities to become self sufficient and possibly even employed seemed like a great fit with our mission. We are proud to be a partner in this program that could help so many Iowans.”
